Second Annual NHIT Collaborative for the Underserved Conference
The National Health IT Collaborative for the Underserved (NHIT Collaborative), in collaboration with HIMSS North America will be convening the "Second Annual NHIT Collaborative for the Underserved Conference: Advancing Health Equity through Precision Medicine & Health IT Innovation." The conference will be the largest gathering of national Health IT leaders focused in underserved communities and will coincide with National Health IT Week and take place on October 6th at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill.
The conference will also provide a forum for the nation's leading Health IT stakeholders to focus on HIT opportunities for multicultural and underserved communities who comprise almost 40% of the nation's population. Together we will share and analyze strategies for optimizing the effective use of Health IT to advance health equity and eliminate disparities. The conference will feature four (4) panel discussions focused on:
- Precision medicine
- HIT Innovation and Scientific Research
- Emerging Markets- Global Health IT
- Federal Stakeholders Initiatives
