Bridging the Digital Divide
Connecting Patients and Providers to Eliminate Health Disparities

Join National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) as we partner with the National Health IT Collaborative for the Underserved (NHIT) for the first joint Stakeholder Forum. This will be an interactive discussion with leading experts on leveraging health IT to improve the health of underserved populations.

Despite continued advances in medical care and delivery, health disparities still exist across underserved populations in the US. From access to continuity and coordination of care, minority and low-income populations can trail their white and high-income counterparts by up to 20 percent.

With the advent of health IT, solutions to overcoming health disparities have begun to emerge. The rise of the internet and proliferation of mobile wireless internet access have given providers and patients new ways to connect and stay connected.

Attend "Bridging the Digital Divide" with NeHC and NHIT to continue this conversation with experts who are on the front lines in the fight to eliminate health disparities through the use of health IT.
